More HEROES CON stuff
SEE/DO/BUY AT HEROES CON:
Part two. Ziritt, Zatanas and….uh…Zanete?
SEE: ALEXIS ZIRITT and FISTFUL APPAREL (AA-525)

To borrow from a Das Racist song; if you know all the reasons why Alexis Ziritt is da shit, then you da shit. This guy is definitely on the rise and I think HEROES CON is going to be a great opportunity, not only for him, but for you! Be sure you go by his booth and check out his art, comics, as well as his shirts from Fistful Apparel.
DO: THE HEROES CON ART AUCTION

The Saturday night art auction is one of the things that makes the Heroes Con stand out in a sea of comic conventions. Sure, other cons have auctions, but I can’t imagine that any of them come close to the participation, works auctioned off, or the atmosphere in the room. The funds raised from the auction go to help put on the next year’s HEROES CON. I think it is a real showing of appreciation and support by the artists and the fans for all of the work Shelton Drum and his crew put into the con every year.
You may be saying: “But I don’t have a ton of money to buy art”. That’s okay! You should at least go to see all of the art on display before the auction starts and watch some of the action. Also, not all of the art goes for thousands of dollars. Often times you can get some really nice pieces for a great price.
BUY: CHOCOLATE by ERIC CANETE ($25)

Come on, guys. It’s an art book by Eric Canete. What more do I need to say?
Here are the details: 6 x 9.25 inches - Full color pearlescent cover w/ dust jacket wrapper, B&W interior pages on vellum, heavy stock. 56 pages. 50% of all proceeds from the sales of CHOCOLATE will be given as an IN MEMORIAM donation to the CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY in honor of artist CLEMENT SAUVE who passed away on January 26, 2011.
You can also purchase it on Eric’s blog if you can’t make it to HEROES CON: http://kahnehteh.blogspot.com/
